The information you choose to provide.
The enquiry form collects your name, contact details, property suburb, project goals, budget band, preferred timeframe and any extra information you choose to share. It also records your consent, submission time, the page used and available campaign attribution such as a campaign name or referring website hostname.
Please do not include identification documents, payment details, health information or sensitive personal circumstances in the form. We do not need them to discuss an initial building enquiry.
Why the information is used.
Information is used to receive and manage the enquiry, contact you about your project, discuss a possible professional introduction, maintain enquiry records and protect the service from spam or misuse. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
We discuss a proposed introduction with you before sharing your enquiry with a building professional. That professional is responsible for their own services and handling of information provided to them.
Hosting, storage and service providers.
The site is intended to be hosted with Hostinger. Enquiries are stored in a private Google Sheet and an email notification is sent using Google Apps Script to the service inbox. Access should be limited to authorised people handling enquiries. Google and hosting services may process data outside Australia under their own terms.
Architectural images are served from Unsplash unless they have been downloaded and hosted locally. Loading a remote image can disclose technical connection information such as your IP address to the image provider.
Functional storage and security.
The form uses a temporary session cookie for request protection. Campaign attribution may be kept in your browser session storage during your visit. No advertising pixels or third party analytics have been installed in this version of the website.
The server uses a short lived, hashed network identifier for rate limiting. Standard hosting logs may contain technical access details. Security measures reduce risk but no internet transmission or service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention, access and questions.
Enquiry information is retained while it is reasonably needed to manage the enquiry, related business records and any applicable obligations. Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion. We may need to confirm that a request relates to you, and some information may need to be kept where lawful obligations apply.
If you have a concern, contact the service using the details above and explain the issue. This notice should be reviewed when the operator, providers, form fields or uses of the information change.
